grow, make and be
My micro greens are really growing. From what I have read, they need to grow a bit more before harvesting them. They are not cut and come again like lettuce. I have several trays and need to sow seeds again. I sure like the process of watching something grow. I am keeping the trays upstairs by a good south facing window.
I made cinnamon rolls on Saturday by scratch. I don't know what came over me. They were delicious but I seriously felt sick after eating them...way too rich. The process of proofing the yeast and watching the dough rise is really kinda amazing. The family loved them.
I made roasted sweet potatoes and butternut squash for my lunch this week. Dinner was black bean chilli and corn bread. I also have overnight oats in the fridge. First time to try them. I think they will be great to take to work. I made my menu plan through Thanksgiving. If there is one thing I do right - it is menu plan.
