We are having such a good time here.  We are all in a vacation state of mind.  It is a good place to be.  Yesterday morning my sister, dad and I meandered our way through the local farmers market and last night I danced with my son's friend  before the fireworks began.  A local band was playing right by us.  I probably embarrassed my own kids but soon they all joined along.  There is 12 of us here.  Josh brought two friends along.  They are having the time of their lives.  Instagraming like nobody's business and alternating between swimming in the pool and the lake.  Yesterday the girls made a 4th of July cake.  

 I am trying to not think about going home.  We still have two more days here.  I miss Brooklyn terribly though.  I can't help but wonder what she is thinking.  Will we ever return? We will and she will be so excited so I focus on that instead.  We are right in the middle of apple and cherry orchards.  Friday we may go blueberry picking.  Right now though - I am heading out for my daily walk/run.  It would be an understatement to say that I really like it here.

    i am so glad you are so happy! i loved every single thing about this post. and that pic of josh is maybe my favorite photo EVER - you need to blow that one up and hang it on the wall :)

    O please don't think of going back, just enjoy you're time. Let loose and soak up every single moment. These memories will help get you through the mundane time.

    This picture has got to be one of the best photos I've ever seen, Denise! Seriously. Perfect. The composition. The coloration. Capturing the essence of it all.

    sounds like it was a wonderful little getaway, coming home is always so hard, isn't it? We traveled to Greece last Fall, and I think I was depressed for weeks--but it works its way out of the system eventually;)
