I'm posting early today.
I want to unplug for the rest of the day.
Everything I *need* to do online is done.
Yesterday found one boy up early.
Stomping around the house like it was noon.
Check him out. He went hiking. This was the second time.
And even better - his hike was 14 miles round trip.
Who would have thunk it.
The Mr. and I raked leaves for 4 hours straight.
I have calluses to prove it. Lovely trees.
Then I had a phone call from a friend - I had not heard from in 3 years.
She's had a rough go. Her marriage has ended.
It was a conversation that stayed on my mind for sometime after we hung up.
On a more cheerful note.
I tried a new pancake recipe for breakfast.
and I have six books at the library ready for pick-up.
