Check out the candle holders that Tori brought home from school yesterday. I am completely in love with them. She made them in wood shop, her elective this semester. Josh and Tallie have taken photography and next semester Tallie and Tori will be taking creative cooking. Oh, and Josh is in Graphic Arts 2 all year. Let's just say...I am just a little jealous. A far cry from the electives that I took in my small (almost one room) school house.
Tori keeps pointing out their imperfections which I don't even notice. Isn't that the way it always is? We only see our mistakes when in fact they are invisible to everyone else.
Have I shared this addition to my kitchen? The neighbor was giving this shelf away. Left it out on the road with a free sign on it. People do that a lot here. It happens to fit perfectly in this location and keeps the computer out of sight from the rest of the kitchen.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow. I love my days off. I hardly ever go anywhere on Thursdays and Fridays. I am perfectly content to stay home all day. I've been thinking a lot about chickens, gardening and summer which is quite strange as it is just barely December.
She did a beautiful job! I love those candle holders.
