In the eleventh hour on Friday night - I got asked if I wanted to go hiking the next morning. Out of a dead sleep I replied while most certainly - yes. I am the last reserve or the if all else fails but I don't care. I don't turn down hiking especially with my kids.
We didn't leave all that early. It is still dark here until at least 7:30am. We did get to the trailhead in good time. This particular one was about 40 minutes from home. What a great hike and beautiful day. I really like hiking. Have I mentioned that? There were five us that went - six if you count the dog.
I think the pictures speak for themselves and there are plenty of pictures. The sun and blue sky was just amazing. Can't wait for next time.
Beautiful. I envy you bc you live in such a natural and beautiful area.
