On our second day of camping we headed for the coast. So very typical for the Washington coast to be foggy much like it was here this morning. When I left - the sky was crystal clear. I looked up and wished for a moment that I wasn't already running late. I wanted just a few more minutes to look up at the starry sky and wonder in the amazement of it all.
When I look back at these pictures I recall that beach day. There was no schedule. No practices. No homework. No work. No stress to be heard of. All of which have quickly invaded these fall days.
And, so while I am eagerly anticipating fall and all it's splendor perhaps there is something to be said for these days of summer.
Your photos are beautiful...love the one of the trees on top of the rock/island. Amazing... I love foggy, cold beach days...they're my favorite over a hot day...of course. ;) xo
ReplyDeleteI like your foggy coast...that is my kind of beach...and my kind of snacks :)
