go and be:

I gotta get moving by Denise McArthur

I left the house at 10am yesterday morning and got home at 7pm.  Not completely unheard of but a bit for me especially on a Sunday. The girl came home with a medal and  the boy came home with a back pack.  And, we may have come home with a pizza for dinner.

We gathered on the couch last night.  All. of. us.  The couch that I finally allowed my husband to separate.  It is a sectional that has seen its day.  It is not all that comfortable and lousy for his back.  He sat on the recliner that has been upstairs all these years.  Now I have this somewhat chaise lounge in the kitchen.  All with out breaking the piggy bank.

I finally finished my book that I started on vacation.  Having to be at a game an hour prior really helps that situation.  I need a new book now as it feels strange to be without.  I never started Wild and I have plenty of others on my Amazon wish list.

I've allowed myself just a few minutes here this morning.  It is finally getting light out.  I am back to work today. I have to keep my schedule.  It is time to take the dog out.  I am already looking forward to next weekend.  At this point, nothing scheduled.  I am craving beach though.  The girls want out on the boat again.  Mainly, I just still want summer for all its worth.

  1. There is something about Sundays isn't there. I don't want to go too far from home and I want to be home as early as possible. I love the slow Sundays. Best day of the week.

  2. Congrats to your daughter on the medal! I need to do some furniture rearranging myself. I would really just like to buy new stuff, but rearranging can also do wonders to freshen up a space. Have a great week!

Does this thing still work?

Wow.  There was so much dust on this blog, I needed two rags to clean it off. Hello blog, how are you?  I know it’s been a while and yes, ...
