grow: lavendar







We are having a slow day around here. It's kinda nice actually. The weather is just right for a day at home.  It reminds me of the day that I harvested the lavender. It is one of my favorites. I really noticed the bees love it too. I made some lavender lemonade a few weeks back.  I used this recipe. The girls didn't think they would like it...one sip is all it took though to change their minds.

    I find that sometimes dried herbs are better suited for certain recipes...so it'll be good to have dry AND fresh!

    A while back a friend and I came upon a cool little bakery on a back road...we got a chocolate lavender scone that was TO DIE FOR. Oh my goodness...SO good...

    Mmmm....I wish that I could smell that lavender through the screen. It's one of my favorite scents. You take such wonderful pictures. Have a great week. : )
