This last week was really quite nice. Up until Thursday there was only one child here and in between her working and visiting friends that left just me. Better yet, I had no car either. Stuck at home. Oh bummer!
Everyone is back now though (and it shows). A new week is just about to begin and I am excited because it is only consisting of three working days! I have some thoughts stewing about working moms and summers. Really, about letting go of what I thought my summers would look like and embracing what they are instead.
So that said, this week.
1) I harvested some herbs
2) finally got Salt Water Sandals!
3) Took fido on lots of long walks - an hour each day
4) Knit, knit and knit. (why am I not a fast knitter?)
5) Even made some rose water which is so easy
And, that's Josh with my grand nephew. Sweetest picture Ever!
Have a wonderful week! Im not a fast knitter either. Changed to holding the yarn in my left hand vs. throwing from the right and that seems to be helping ; )
ReplyDeleteI love all of your photos...the knitting one with all the blues makes me happy. (and on another note...I hate that I can't reply to your comments on my blog! I never have figured out why I can respond to some and not others. grrrr) Loving the rose water...how cool is that?!
