Something was definitely different yesterday. For one - I worked early so up at 3:45 a.m. I went through my morning like normal. The husband called and one kid to wish me a happy birthday. I never once mentioned it to anyone though that is just not my style. When my co-worker said something it took me by surprise. I had forgotten I had told her. Even though hardly anyone knew it was my birthday - this one was different. If I had to pick a word that resonated through out my day - the word is mature.
Not mature as in boring and old more like this from dictionary.com:
mature: fully developed in body or mind, as a person: a mature woman.
I didn't look that definition up until this morning but truly that is exactly what I was feeling yesterday. And, it was like the best feeling in the world.
