Oh my goodness - this was so good. I have been not wanting to make pizza dough lately. Too much of a mess at the end of the day at the end of a week. Or, maybe I am just a bit lazy. Last week I used some flat bread crust which made for a really thin pizza. My family actually does not like a lot of dough. They don't like huge hamburger buns either. I recently bought those sandwich thins which they liked.
I made theses pizzas with naan bread and just cheese, crumbled bacon and really thin sliced onions. Once out we loaded the salad mix on top along with some feta and olive oil and vinegar dressing. Paul Newman's brand is my favorite. I know I could make my own dressing too. Again, I can be lazy.
Josh's plate afterwards. This is the best thing I have ate in quite the while.
I was making 5 pizza dough balls and freezing them.
ReplyDeleteNow I got out of the habit and I can't get back in....maybe you've inspired me!
Yummmm....it reminds me of a thin crust pizza my mom and I shared at a little bistro in Petaluma. It was seasonal...arugula, thinly sliced pear, pancetta...it was delish!
