I bought my second little summer dress today. This one is causing me to embrace a little Giada deLaurentiis cleavage. The husband thinks it is great. Not today because I am late finishing up my weekly cleaning but a pictures soon - I promise.
Today has just been fantastic. Everything I could ask for out of a day. Kids got off to school. Brooklyn and I headed to the trail. I've got quite the number of acquaintances out there. There is Joan, Norm, Kathy, JoAnn, George and others. Most of them are seniors. Kathy just had a knee replacement yet she walks her two dogs faithfully.
I did an hour of yoga once I got home. I could have easily skipped the yoga. Breakfast dishes everywhere, laundry to be done and my weekly cleaning. I did the yoga anyways. A lot of people tell me that they could never exercise/practice at home - too many distractions. I get that. I have just gotten past that. At my work, yoga classes are part of the monthly $25 membership fee - I always make a point to tell new members that they are getting quite the deal. I pay $10 for a Yoga Today subscription. It is worth it. I really like the teachers. Having yoga knowledge of course helps. A new student would benefit from a class with a live instructor. Not sure how I got off on that tangent but I do actually, yoga is something that I love.
Husband took the day off. We headed out around noon to get some lunch. The cleaning could wait some more. He went off looking for golfing gear while I went looking for dresses. I could have sworn he would be wondering what was taking me so long. Turns out we both walked out of our respective stores at the same time. We barely made it to the bus stop on time.
Four are home. One is gone to an eighth grade graduation party. The four that are here want some dinner. I am kinda hooked on this pizza but this looks worth trying. I just may have bought me some new wine today too.
