Tallie made breakfast and slowly all made their way home. I let out a big exhale. My home returned to mostly calm and quiet. I really value calm and quiet that and sleep.
We don't have a summer list. Just about every weekend this summer is already planned. I have some ideas about this summer though. Slow mornings for one. Two pots of coffee. Lots of water. Plenty of fruits and veggies. Afternoon naps. Easy dinners. Evenings in the backyard. And last not but least new summer pajamas and salt water sandals.
She's looking so mature...like a young lady. Sorry the sleepover wasn't so successful. Having boys this didn't happen so much...only Ian and my nephew every weekend. But then it was just one extra kid and it was family...so...
ReplyDeleteYour summer "plans" sound divine...slow, easy and full of coffee. :)
Denise,
ReplyDeleteI feel like I've just found a long lost friend! I've missed you! I was watering our garden today and thought "Denise would be so proud..." It was a fluke that I found your comment on Beauty that Moves, but thought that you might still visit!
I hope all is well with you and your family..I love the pics of Brooklyn...I've missed her too! :)!
I have been thinking of changing my focus on my blog and if I can figure out my camera, I would like to write more about living than finances and document it with photos...I always love seeing yours!
And, oh by the way, you look amazing!
