It was such a delightful weekend. I met a blogger! Such a treat. She is really quite lovely and just how I would have expected her to be. I really couldn't stop smiling when I was around her. I think I was almost giddy. The Tolt Yarn and Wool store was just lovely too. We went for the Makers Market. Carnation is a good 30 minutes or so from home. It's a small town without a Starbucks even. Good thing we stopped before heading out.
Inspired by all that beautiful yarn and creative spirits I casted on my first baby sweater. I have two nieces that are due after the first of the year. My sweater is finished but let's not talk about it - it was a big learning lesson on making sure you choose the right yarn for the project. I'm totally enjoying the start of the this new project. So far so good.
