make: lunch/project bag
This is the little lunch/project bag I made from Linen, Wool, Cotton. I thought I might add some embellishing but decided it is fine as it is. It's perfect size for what I am knitting right now - a baby sweater but I am thinking about making another one that is bigger for my actual lunch bag. I pack both my breakfast and lunch everyday so this wouldn't do.
I've got two little sleeves to finish on the baby sweater and it will be done. It will go with my mom and dad to California to give to my niece who is due any day. And, now I am thinking about what I will knit next. I still have quite a few sewing projects to finish - it just seems harder to find big chunks of time to sew where as with knitting I can take it everywhere I go and I do. Yesterday I was knitting in the car while the girls were in the mall shopping. I have had my fill of that now. Interesting how that works. When they came out of the mall, they said they were done too.
I might be back today with a little end of the year reflection - we'll see. I may just spend the day knitting. It is cold and raining so a late afternoon movie might be nice too.

ReplyDeleteby the way---i spent like an hour on your flicker account the other day looking at your pics. You have talent with the lens sister.
Any thoughts on doing some tutorials for a blog friend??---Meaning teach me????
This is great! Love this bag ~ and gorgeous photo!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little bag! I like the fabric that you used. I think I would probably sew more often is it was portable too. I also don't have a space where I can leave it out, so it rarely happens.
