go: cabin shopping

  

I shared on instagram last Sunday that we (my extended family included) were cabin shopping. Yes, it's true. We all have our heart set on one in particular. It's still a waiting game two offers later.

I remember writing here a while back about my desire for such a cabin. One day it was just decided that our family needed somewhere to go. There are plenty of places to go around here, finding housing for large groups is what is hard to do.

We have fallen pretty heavy for this cabin. I'm praying and fingers are crossed. It is not right on this lake - but it is on a real private lot. Trees, wood stove, wrap around deck, space for teenagers and this kitchen....swoon.

I'm in a different place when it comes to these things now. If it works out - super and if it doesn't, oh well. I don't know where that has come from but it is like peace with whatever. It's a good place to be in.

If we get it though, there may be a kayak in my future.
