Mother’s Day

All the days this year look different.  I'm looking back on Mother's day now and remembering that two out of my kids were here and neither would have been expected.  

I  remember too that my husband stayed home because he was painting.  He was able to accomplish so many home projects this summer.  We went to nearby Lake Washington for a walk and probably there was some coffee.  I've never been one that needs adorning on Mother's day so a walk and coffee was perfect.  It was a nice day out too.
