Third time is a charm

We hiked Mt. Elinor over the 4th of July weekend.  First time for Tori.  This hike is really no joke.  It's hard and there are goats.  And, it's hard.  Did I mention that?

The day was perfect.  We went without the dogs this time, that part is hard for me but Brooklyn would not have made it this year without being so sore days after.  This hike's terrain is rocky and you take big steps up and down.  The quads feel it and even more the next day.

Larry climbs Mt. Rainier typically every year and he says this hike is challenging.  He didn't climb this year because of the pandemic.  While it's never truly safe, this year added additional elements which prevented him from going.  We talk about hiking more next year.  I'm not climbing Mt. Rainier though!

I'm really proud of Tori for her doing this hike. I didn't know if we would make it to the top a couple of times.  She preserved though and I'm pretty sure she was proud of herself too.
