This was the final picture I took last Saturday. Not to sound boastful, but I really like it. I recently scored a new lens. Basically I earned it by walking a lot of steps this summer. It's a work thing. Pretty cool thing too. I've got a goal of a new camera in 2015.
The days are changing here. As opposed to welcoming light in the spring, I'm actually enjoying seeing some of it go. I've been getting to bed earlier, sleeping better and enjoying my days - work and all. Tori is teaching me how to play soccer too. She insists that I run awkwardly.
All this said, summer ain't over yet. We are heading out in a few days for a little get-a-way and I'm so excited. After that, fall will be here and it is my favorite.

I love this post...so calming and positive. And this picture? You SHOULD boast...it's amazing. You've got me thinking about starting a prayer journal again...there was a time I wrote in one every single morning...for years. I guess I kinda miss it.
